Hace dos semanas, tuvimos la oportunidad de ir a un festival de Tomate en Wonderfarm. Al llegar, visitamos una tienda donde vendían productos a base de tomate como salsas, comida y dulces; lo cual fue muy agradable ya que habían productos muy interesantes. Luego, procedimos a ir a un invernadero donde hacían crecer los tomates. Pasamos una linda tarde recogiendo tomates de diferentes tipos y tomando fotos del hermoso lugar; el cual se encontraba dividido por filas y en cada una de ellas había una variedad diferente de tomate; como; “aiko cherry”, “Campari” y “Toscana Violet”. A la hora del almuerzo, nos sorprendimos al ver que habían muchos estantes de comida todas a base de tomate! Decidimos que cada una compraría un plato diferente para compartir la comida poder probar cada uno de ellos. Fue una linda experiencia ya que fue mi primera vez recogiendo tomates y ver la gran variedad que existe de estos. Stephanie
Two week ago, we had the opportuity to go to a tomato festival in Wonderfarm. Upon arrival, we visited a store where they sold tomato.based products such as sauces, home made food and sweets; which was very nice since there were very interesting products. Then, we visited the greenhouse where they grow the tomatoes. We spent a nice afternoon picking up tomatoes of different varieties and taking pictures of the beautiful place; which was divided by rows, each one of them with a different type such as “Aiko Cherry”, “Campari” and “Toscana Violet”. At lunchtime, we had a great time eating different dishes made out of tomatoes. The festival offered many types of dishes so we decided to buy one of each to share. It was a nice experience as it was my first time picking up tomatoes and getting to know the wide variery that exists! thank you so much for the opportunity!
