El 9 de Junio, mis cotmpañeras de Vietnam, Myanmar, la profesora Yabuki y yo, tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar “Flower Center”; un hermoso lugar donde vimos diferentes tipos de flores y árboles tanto de Japón como de otros países. Este lugar queda a aproximadamente a 12 minutos de la universidad en carro.
Al llegar, encontramos un pequeño jardín lleno de varios tipos de flores, rosas y árboles en dónde nos tomamos muchas fotos ya que era un sitio muy agradable. Luego, ingresamos a un invernadero donde tenían diversas especies de cactus preservados; así como también árboles de mango, plátano y palta que ya tenían frutos.
Así mismo, observamos una bella colección de flores de lavanda, hibisco y muchas otras variedades que no se suelen ver con mucha frecuencia.
Algo muy peculiar de éste lugar fue poder encontrar un árbol con hojas de momiji traído de otro país durante ésta temporada pues por lo general, éstos suelen ser vistos por el mes de Octubre.
Muchísimas gracias por la oportunidad de participar en ésta actividad! fue muy divertido y la pasamos de maravilla!

On June 9th, we had the opportunity to visit “Flower center”; a beautiful place with different types of flowers and trees from Japan as well as from other countries. This place is approximately 12 minutes away from the university by car.
Once we got there, we found a small garden full of various types of flowers, roses and trees; where we took many photos as it was a really nice place. Then, we entered a greenhouse where we saw several species of preserved cactus; as well as mango, banana and avocado trees where some of the fruits had already grown.
Likewise, we observed a beautiful collection of flowers of lavender, hibiscus and many other varieties that are not seen quite often. Something very particular about this place, is that we were able to find a bloomed momiji tree brought from abroad during this season, as they’re usually seen around October.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to participate in this activity! It was very fun and we had a great time!

6月9日｛日）私達は、大学から車で12分くらいの所にある「いわき市フラワーセンター」を訪れました。
フラワーセンターは、各国のさまざまな種類の美しい花や木々でいっぱいでした。とても綺麗だったので、私達はたくさんの写真を撮りました。
その後温室に入り、そこで数種類のサボテンを見ました。 また、マンゴー、バナナ、アボカドなどの果物や、ラベンダー、ハイビスカスなど美しい花もありました。
中にはとても珍しいものもありました。日本では10月頃にもみじが見られますが、美しく紅葉している海外からのもみじです。
この活動に参加する機会をありがとうございました！ とても楽しく素晴らしい時間を過ごしました！
