Blueberry Picking in Iwaki

DATE 2020-8-30

July 30th, I went to a blueberry farm along with Myanmar student after a long time. The name of the farm is “Owada Natural Farm”, and it is located in Yoshima-cho, Iwaki City.
From Iwaki Station to the Motoyama bus stop was 380 yen only, and it took about 15 minutes.
The entrance fee is 1000 yen for adults, 500 yen for elementary school students and younger, and free for children under 3 years old. It is open from 9:00 to 15:00.
There are 10kinds of blueberries on the farm. I was very surprised to know that there are different types of blueberries. That day we ate three types of blueberries. And in the farm blueberries were all-you-can-eat.
Blueberries are harvested in the summer, but they seem to be more delicious on sunny days. We enjoyed the harvest and received a delicious blueberry, it was a great time.
Be careful of snakes when you come to the farm because it’s surrounded by paddy fields. There is also a goat at the corner of the farm.
You can also eat blueberry candy here except for blueberry picking.
In addition, they also organize events such as blueberry pizza competition. If you are interested, please call the farm to see when it will take place.
7月30日 私はミャンマー人留学生と、久しぶりの取材をしにブルーベリー農園に行きました。農園の名前は、「大和田自然農園」で、いわき市好間町にあります。
